Yo. My name is Rose Donner and I gave up the chance for a normal life and instead swapped it for a life of traveling the world. I left home at the age of 21 and have been traveling ever since. I run multiple online businesses, write for various websites, and run e-commerce projects to sustain myself. While my parents, my friends, and my college said this was an insane move, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

During my time in hostels, hotels, and Couchsurfing, I’m often asked about my travels, whether it’s on my experiences and opinions on different places, what apps I use to make my life easier, or just tips on how people can do it for themselves, and I ended up repeating myself over and over again. Most people thought I was insane to leave my old life behind, but I’ve always held onto the fact I’m a Sane Traveller.

And then this website was born.

Since 2018, I’ve been uploading to Sane Traveller to share my experiences and to show you that having adventures in this world has never been easier.
